Learning Environments

The majority of classes are held in the Main Building. 人文学科, 历史, 英语, 哲学, and religion classes meet around seminar tables to facilitate discussion. The average class size is 13.

Whitney Griswold 科学 Building, commonly known as 科学 Building, houses 13 laboratory classrooms, an optics lab, 成长空间, scanning electron microscope, photography and film department’s five black-and-white and color darkrooms, video editing room, and two screening/classrooms. The lower level of the 科学 Building now houses The Class of  2017 EFX (Engineering, 制造, and Exploration) Lab and The Leung Prototyping Studio, where students can test and implement design and engineering principles and collaborate on projects that span the curriculum.
